ReTreat Day #4 - 6th June 2019

The ReTreat Days are for mums/female carers of children with additional needs and are child free. We do not wish financial hardship to be a barrier to attendance. Therefore one space may be available free of charge. Please contact Pauline Grant with a formal request and we will decide case by case.

About The Event

6th June's ReTreat Day will look like this: We thought we would give you advance notice of the date.

9am-10am Breakfast.

10am-12pm Morning Session.

12pm-1pm Lunch

1pm-2.00pm Afternoon Session

2.00pm-2.30pm Wind down Workshop and Finish.

Rooms set up today will be:

Support Room. This is where you can chat with the other mums and drink as much tea and coffee as you can.

Quiet Room. Shhhhh. In here you can read, sleep, listen to music on your headphones or just sit quietly.

Art Room. The art sessions are provided in partnership with North Tyneside Art Studio. Engaging in creative arts has been shown to provide a broad range of health benefits, including improved motivation, increased social engagement and enhanced self confidence. The workshop will be confirmed nearer the time.

Craft Room. Kay Armatage from Alkamy candles will be guiding you through how to make your own candles to take away.

Pamper Room. Have you ever played with a little girl's hair, brushing it, plaiting it etc and wished someone would do that for you? Well we make wishes come true, because Elisa Bland is coming to just "play" with your hair. Elisa has been a hairdresser since leaving school and she really loves her job working at making people feel good about themselves.

Wind down Workshop by Alison Thornton who is a trained pilates instructor and also teaches relaxation techniques.
