It was amazing to share MIcah and Jonah with family and friends in the states and even more wonderful to be reunited with Kristian. Hopefully we will all be in one place and all together for the foreseeable future. May you find yourself close to the ones you love...

A sunny day, father and son mugging at the camera and obviously have a great time?! We are enjoying every moment of time with Jonah before the sprout makes his appearance. Jonah is so much fun, engaging in so many new ways with the world. It is so exciting to watch! :) Hard to believe 2 is just around the corner, as in 2 years old, but I guess #2 as well. I can’t wait to see how Jonah engages with this new change to our life!

K’s computer broke again, which means he takes mine so no blogging. Hopefully I am back! :) Here is a little taster of one of our slower moments. I decided one morning it would be a fun treat to do a bit of ‘cooking’ with Jonah. We had done this at a toddler group before and Jonah did not even have a bib. Wow, one minute he was clean the next minute he looked like this. I was home alone so was trying to corral him, get some photos and figure out how to use k’s camera with all the bells and whistles. It was fun and funny, but had to be shared! Enjoy the pics! :)

So Jonah will have a little brother, and he will, we are sure, ‘have the heart of a champion” :) (For all you Homestar fans out there.) It will be an adventure for us to learn about parenting two boys, neither one of our families had that. We have talked about renting movies, reading novels and books about brothers and brotherhood. Any suggestions? Also, we want to glean wisdom of parents of multiple boys and guys who are friends of ours who grew up with brothers, this is unchartered territory. What an adventure life is.
